Canonical elements for Öpik theory

چکیده

The purpose of this paper is to find a set of canonical elements to use within the framework of Öpik theory of close encounters of a small body with a planet ([Öpik 1976]). Since the small body travels along a planetocentric hyperbola during the close approach and Öpik formulas are valid, without approximations, only at collision, we derive a set of canonical elements for hyperbolic collision orbits (eccentricity e → 1, semi-major axis a fixed) and then we introduce the unperturbed velocity of the small body and the distance covered along the asymptote as a new canonically conjugate pair of orbital elements. An interesting result would be to get a canonical set containing the coordinates in the Target Plane (TP), useful for the analysis of the future encounters: in the last part we prove that this is not possible.

Canonical (m,n)−ary hypermodules over Krasner (m,n)−ary hyperrings

The aim of this research work is to define and characterize a new class of n-ary multialgebra that may be called canonical (m, n)&minus hypermodules. These are a generalization of canonical n-ary hypergroups, that is a generalization of hypermodules in the sense of canonical and a subclasses of (m, n)&minusary hypermodules. In addition, three isomorphism theorems of module theory and canonical ...

Sampling Rate Conversion in the Discrete Linear Canonical Transform Domain

Sampling rate conversion (SRC) is one of important issues in modern sampling theory. It can be realized by up-sampling, filtering, and down-sampling operations, which need large complexity. Although some efficient algorithms have been presented to do the sampling rate conversion, they all need to compute the N-point original signal to obtain the up-sampling or the down-sampling signal in the tim...

Identification of Risk Factors by Using Macroeconomic and Firm-Specific Variables Simultaneously in Tehran Stock Exchange by Applying Canonical Correlation Analysis

The main objective of this study is to give the insight of describing mixing accounting ratios and macroeconomic variables as the risk factors in Iran. The results indicate a significant relationship between book to market ratio, financial leverage, size factors and expected stock returns in the Iranian market. In consistent with the other studies, we came to the conclusion that the term struct...

Finite - Element Lattice Hamiltonian Matrix Elements

The finite-element approach to lattice field theory is both highly accurate (relative errors ∼ 1/N2, where N is the number of lattice points) and exactly unitary (in the sense that canonical commutation relations are exactly preserved at the lattice sites). In this paper we construct matrix elements for the time evolution operator for the anharmonic oscillator, for which the continuum Hamiltoni...

2 . the Hamiltonian for the Motion of a Charged Particle in a Magnetic

Charged particle motion in a second-order magnetic optical achromat is described using a canonical perturbation theory. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of such a device are presented. Given these conditions, the second-order matrix elements at the end of the achromat are found explicitly. It is shown that all geometric matrix elements are equal to zero and all chromatic ma...
